Kodak - Easy Share

Ihate this camera!!!!

Something is wrong with it - it comes on ONLY when it wants to!

I have some pictures I wanted to download - my daughter bought me a beautiful bread bowl. She got herself one several months ago at Canton. I have been coveting it ever since - everytime I go to her house I try to sneak out with it - but she catches me everytime!!

She and friend went a couple of weeks ago and she saw one and she bought it for me - I know, she is so sweet!! (Really, she is just trying to keep me from taking hers!!).

It is oblong and wooden - looks like it has been carved by hand. Kinda like a little boat. Anyway, I am going to keep playing with this camera and maybe it will decide later in the day to wake up and let me my picture off.

UPDATE - Well, I got the blooming camera to work - but I cannot figure out how to get my pictures WHERE I want them. I click on the place in the post where I want them to go - but they always post at the top. Can someone help? Anyhow, that is my bread bowl - isn't it wonderful!!!!!

Ladies' Meeting Last Night...

My ladies' prayer group met last night. As always, it was wonderful.

I had been asked to bring finger sandwiches - I wanted to take something different - so I made sandwiches with olive spread - the recipe is below - they were a BIG hit - every one wanted to know, "What is in these??"

Of course, I forgot to take pictures - I'm not used to carrying my camera with me everywhere I go and documenting my life - which is what I see you are expected to do if you have a blog!! He!! I will get the hang of it!!

I had a blog a couple of years ago at another site and really enjoyed it - but I got away from it and felt it was time to move on and so this will be new home.

BTW - I really DO live on Primrose Lane!!

Olive Spread for Sandwiches

6 oz cream cheese - softened
1 c. mayo
1 c. pimento stuffed salad olives - chopped very fine - drain and reserve liquid
1 c. pecans - chopped
2 T olive liquid
dash of cayenne
dash of Tabasco

Let sit for 24 hours and then spread on party bread.

**I also added chopped black olives to mine and spread it on Hawaiian Rolls and then cut them in half.

I wish I would have taken a picture!!

Well, no, I haven't gotten much done on this - I really just don't know where to begin. So I just will!!

Here is a picture of me and my two daughters taken at Christmas - I never like pictures of me - but it is very good of the girls. (I can't even get the picture where I want it)!! That's us up there!!

I live in Louisiana and work full time - so I don't have a lot of time to do all the really fun things I want to. Like, read, sew, knit, decorate (which is really something new for me). I love to cook and try new recipes.

I have just started making scented candles and I am having a blast with that. Don't have a clue what I am doing, but I'll figure it out as I go.

Well, that's it for now - will piddle with this some more and try to find out what I need to do to get it to look like all these gorgeous blogs on here!!!! Wish me luck!!!
